We recently shared our excitement for returning to Memphis to take part in a couple of events that will benefit worthwhile causes in the Memphis area. We are equally proud to be a part of another great cause just up the road from Memphis the week prior.

University of Tennessee at Martin students will be hosting an American Cancer Society Relay for life event this Friday, April 19 in the school’s Tom and Kathleen Elam Center. As is customary with Relay events, the night’s main event will be the fundraising walk-a-thon, which will feature members from each team taking turns walking during the night. The University of Silent DiscoSM (USD) will be on hand powering a silent disco, producing one of many entertainment options for the evening.

The entire university community and the public are invited to attend and help raise money for cancer research. Anyone interested in donating to the cause may do so on site during the event or through the online fundraising portal.

In addition to the UTM Relay event, our friends from East Tennessee State University’s Buctainment office is raising money for the ETSU Relay festivities that are also being held on April 19. We have enjoyed working with Buctainment on four USD events over the last couple of years, and we wish them well as they fundraise for this cause.
