The Alumni House services as the office space for the Office of Alumni Relations, but is also available to rent for special events like orientation parties. It truly is a beautiful location for any event. It is equipped with a spacious Great Room, sun room with a movable bar, large caterers kitchen, big patio, and vast front lawn. It is a colonial style red brick house, rich with alumni history and named after Beatrice McMillan. The Danna Student Center at Loyola University in New Orleans has a wide variety of rooms available to rent that are perfect for a party of any size. The largest room, the St. Charles Room, can hold up to 500 people with the smallest rooms (Gallery A and Gallery B) holding only 25 people. There is media equipment offered by Student Involvement, including a media cart, speakers, corded and wireless microphones, and additional equipment can be reserved through the Monroe Library. Any catering must be supplied by the campus Dining Services (Sodexo), so remember to make a reservation at least 14 days before the scheduled event. Security services can be reserved to ensure event safety. Promotional material can be displayed on campus TV Screens and bulletin boards by request through the Danna Student Center.
